Melissa van der Schyff is a multi-talented and multi-faceted performing artist. She works in a variety of media and across diverse entertainment genres including: voice-over, animation, comedy, theatre, television and film, singing, and songwriting. Melissa voices Cindy, the baker, and KC, the dog, on the Nickelodeon animated series "Sunny Day".
Melissa co-wrote and co-stars in "Borrowed Cash", which appeared at (Le) Poisson Rouge in NYC in January 2017, and was presented at American Repertory Theater's Club Oberon in September 2018.
Melissa was a 2012 Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Nominee for her 2011 performance as Blanche Barrow in "Bonnie & Clyde" on Broadway. She and her fellow cast members of the 2003 Broadway Revival of "Big River" were honored with 2004 Tony Award Honors; this Deaf West Theatre and Roundabout Theatre Company co-production was performed simultaneously in English and American Sign Language (ASL). Melissa has performed at lauded resident theaters throughout the United States.
